Original works from this series began with floral watercolor studies that are collaged together and then drawn over with oil pastel. The collection came about with the shifting of seasons – from the fierceness of winter to the fragility of spring. During this transition, we witness mother nature full of rapture and paradox. Decay is side-by-side with fertility and chaos with order.
